Hidden gems in CO, uncovered by this book

I thought I already know everything I need to know about CO but reading this latest book from Mr Jordan, I'm surprised about the hidden gems that I didn't know existed in CO!

This is a very well presented book and worded in such a way to sound not too technical, I've handed this book to some of my business users and even they are surprised that they are able to understand the concept and didn't find it too techie. Some concepts were simplified but not condescending and still aims to challenge. Topics are presented by area but "chunked" down to a more "digestible" sizes so as not to overwhelm the reader. I particularly like the topic on Material Ledger as I find it very timely with the issue I'm working on at the moment. It's very easy to follow (the config steps) and a really good SAP resource book in CO topics, well done!

Extremely Helpful Tips and Tricks

The Controlling module allows for some creativity in how you solve business requirements and issues. I found this textbook to have many interesting tips and tricks that I've used in rollouts. I used the information on purchase info records for intercompany product costing. Many of these tips are things I truly wish I had known about on previous rollouts. Many of the sections helped me explain functionality and transactions to clients and team mates. For example, plan cost splitting has always been a difficult concept for clients to understand. I also used the procurement type section to explain the integration points to supply chain teammates. I highly recommend this text to supplement your Controlling textbook collection.

Another great book from serial author John Jordan! John managed to pack this book with 100 little known tips & tricks for the CO module - not an easy feat for such a vast application component. The 100 tips provide helpful instructions, explain little known features and offer workarounds for many daily CO-related tasks.

Excellent Introductory HCS12 Microcontroller Textbook

I used this textbook in my college level microcontroller course. The book is easy to understand and covers key areas like: ADC/DAC, Timers, serial port programming, ALU, LCD and keyboard interfacing. I like that chapter review questions are organized according to the sub-chapter they are in. The book also includes a chapter 0 for anyone that needs to refresh their knowledge on basic computing knowledge like logical operations or converting numbers between decimal and hexadecimal.

Had to buy this for my Introduction to Microcontrollers class and I gotta say it isn't bad. Not bad at all. Gives a general introduction to the workings of microcontrollers using the HCS12, explaining how registers work, how to properly use memory and more. It starts out with some simple loading instructions and addition using Assembly and goes on to data serialization, DAC, timers and more. Paired with a Dragon 12+ development board, you can't go wrong.

Marvin Repost Is He a Girl

I liked Marvin Redpost because it was funny . The reason it is funny to me because he kept trying to kiss his elbow. He almost got caught kissing his elbow. He started to act like a girl . He was wondering why girls giggle when they come out of the bathroom. He liked the way girls did thiings with their hair. He started to bite his finger like a girl in his classroom. He said that girls are lucky because they can wear anything they want like shorts, skirts and dresses and get to get boys in trouble more than boys get girls in trouble. My favorite part was when he tried to kiss his elbow and got tangled up in his sheets.

Marvin Redpost: Is he a Girl?

I've read the book twice. Great book. Casey tells Marvin that if you kiss your elbow, you will turn into a girl. At first, Marvin doesn't believe her, but when Marvin kisses his elbow, he thinks he really is turning into a girl! Very hilarious! If you like books where the character thinks that they are something else than what they really are, then you'll love this!

I have read all of the Marvin Redpost books, but I liked Is He a Girl? best because it was very fun and suspenseful. It is a fun story because Marvin thinks he is a girl but he doesn't tell his friends. He believes that he is starting to like girl things but I think that there is no difference in girl and boy activities. I think Marvin sees this too. I think this is a fun book for eight or nine year olds to read and younger kids to listen to.

Within this book can be found the essence of Inspirational Psychology, which guides the reader away from the gross density of daily drudgery and "blaming," to a “remembering” of one’s True Self and realization of the ultimate power of our own thoughts to bring about perspective and happiness. At no time does Dr. Jampolsky tell you what to do, but he gently offers suggestions and reminders to help guide you back to your original state of innocence, love and happiness. Thank you, Lee!

One of the things I really love about Dr. Jampolsky's writing here is that he really does not tell folks what to do. Rather he encourages and inspires people to take responsibility for their attitudes, beliefs and paradigms and see if their lives could be improved by simply changing the thoughts they entertain in their minds. I have always believed that we can change our lives by changing our minds. This book gives readers the inspiration and motivation to do exactly that. This play, although some designate as a "chick flick" because it is an all-woman cast, is not. We just performed this play 5 nights to audiences who howled and cried -- and gave us standing ovations every performance. One reviewer here said it has no depth. Not true if you really understand women's friendships and life's challenges. So many in our audience told us how much they identified with the characters, situations, even certain lines. This play has power in its humor and poignant moments throughout, especially in Act 2. And the men who came praised it as highly as the women. Our cast wanted our production never to end. We fell in love with our characters ... If you have an opportunity to see it anywhere, DO.
